Double Smoked Brisket with Purple Sweets

I always order one or two when I order my box. Great flavor and the right amount of smoke.

I microwaved this at work, from its completely frozen state. Not the ideal prep, but that didn't matter. I had people poking their heads into the kitchen telling me how good it smelled, and the taste lived up to that hype.

The brisket was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the "sweets" as well (sweet 'taters are often hit-or-miss with me, so this is high praise). I'm not a fan of super spicy foods, so I was nervous about the sauce, but it's not hit-you-in-the-face spicy and very flavorful. In fact, that's probably my one nitpick with this meal: a LITTLE more of that sauce would be lovely.

Between the quality (and "simplicity") of the ingredients, the taste, the customer service, and the ease, this was, by far, the best "frozen meal" I've ever had. It's definitely not ya mama's frozen meals, and I'd recommend this to *anyone* who wants actual, good ready-made food (without the chemicals) to fit into a busy schedule.

Meals have all been great with awesome ingredient quality that has been much better than all the other big brands.

I really liked the brisket with purple sweet potatoes. And overall I am really pleased with Ice Age. I was embarking on eating keto and wanted a dairy free selection of meals to help me on my way. I had checked with a lot of other different meal delivery services and most did not offer dairy free options. By contrast, Ice Age personally sent me, a customized order that showcase meals that fit my requirements. All have been delicious and in addition to that, when I received my meals, I received a handwritten note with some tips on best methods on how to cool some items make certain things taste great. And they even included a menu book.

Bottom line is It feels like this is a company that cares about the health of their consumer. The quality of the food. And just being a good partner to build with customers. That’s the true spirit of great entrepreneurship. And I am more than happy to support, innovative entrepreneurs for it for the right reasons. So big thanks to Ice age!

Literally could eat it everyday!! Do not change that recipe for anything.
